Oh for Chrissakes!

I hate the lack of sunlight. It makes me totally lethargic. I haven't been doing much at all lately except sleep, which totally sucks. My body decides to go into hibernation mode come winter and it blows.

Well, not doing anything is sort of a lie. The did start another sweep and clean of my room in which I go through EVERYTHING and purge myself of unneeded stuff. I've got quite the pile of ebay stuff on the floor next to my desk.

Kitty and I did go see Night at the Museum the other night, followed by dinner with Cassie and the kids, and a trip to Best Buy in which Cassie was going to buy me Guitar Hero, but it was out of stock.

The scroll wheel on my mouse just broke, which really wouldbe no big deal except it's the mouse that goes with my graphics tablet and isn't as easily replaceable.

I made dinner, it was good. Chicken, 3 different kinds of peppers, onions, mushrooms and HUGE chunks of garlic sauteed in ponzu sauce and laid over rice. It's even better the second day after it has a chance to soak in it's own juices.

I've got pages of 3LJ sketched out, I haven't started coloring them yet. DAMN lethargy!

OK time to get off my butt and do something. Jesus.

Yoshizawa Hitomi to graduate from Momusu!

Yes, it’s true! Yoshizawa Hitomi will graduate from Morning Musume and become a solo artist for Hello! Project on May 6, 2007. If there is a God he’ll let me win the lottery so I can be there for her graduation concert. XD The concert tour is titled “Sexy 8 Beat” The possible title of a new album? We can hope?

Fujimoto Miki will become the new leader, with Takahashi Ai acting as sub-leader.

Anyway, this opens up lots of doors for Hitomi, and while I’ll miss her around Momusu, I’ll be excited for her solo stuff. Hopefully she doesn’t get the shaft as Kaori and Kei have, but I doubt it as not only is she going solo, but she will be participating in group units as well.

Hopefully she’ll get a new photo book as well. As for solo artist material, consensus seems to lean towards upbeat and funky songs. One has to wonder what her solo image will be like though. I don’t think Tsunku will go for the ero-kawaii angle that Maki has taken, I’m sure he’ll keep her girl next door image going strong. It remains to be seen if any changes will be made, or if she’ll evolve over time as a solo artist after being allowed to break free from the cute girly style of Momusu.

It snowed today! A week to late for Christmas, but it’s still pretty out.

I’ve been watching the Dark Shadows boxsets I got for Christmas. I’ve only ever seen the Leviathan episodes once on my initial Scifi Channel run through, I forgot how much fun they were at the beginning. Well, the Leviathan parts are somewhat fun. The REAL fun stuff is the leftover storylines from 1897 that managed to continue. It’s too bad the writer’s never brought Petofi back into the storyline. He was the best villan the show ever had. NOBODY could beat him, except the gypsies, and even they had a rather incompetent habit of getting murdered whenever they showed up. Even Barnabas and Angelique were powerless against him. But that is what fanfiction is for. XD

I have a new website. Hello! Girl A place for all my Momusu related rants. I might go and back post the Momusu stuff I posted here and on my lj. Hollowmoon is going to get revamped as well. It needs it. I’ve got too many static sites on there *shakes fist at CLAMP*

AUGH! T_T Okay I’m on disc 2 of boxset 17 (which I got for Christmas thanks Mom & Dad) and Beth has finally figured out with much help that Petofi is in Quentin’s body. OK I figure she was probably hoping for a happy ending here and was putting on blinders… my gripe here is that the writers had her run to TIM SHAW for help?! WHY?! What the hell was the logic behind this decision? Because he’s had dealings with Petofi? So has nearly EVERYONE ELSE in town! Why the hell didn’t she run to Quentin (in Petofi’s body) for Chrissakes?!

Oh my God. Seriously.

AND THEN! To get away from him she ran from town to WIDOW’S HILL?!?! Let me say that again FROM TOWN to WIDOW’S HILL which is in the middle of NOWHERE in the woods. And then she falls to her death…… on accident.

Oh Lordy! Yay for Boxset 17!

I’d been STRUGGLING through the last disc of boxset 16 which was the whole Barnabas has been “staked”, Quentin and Amanda are trying to get out of the house without Angelique or Trask finding out…. DRAG. Oh my God do these episodes DRAG.

But then there it was and the storyline got FUN again. I had almost completely forgotten about it! The Petofi steals Quentin’s body tale of the body thief storyline. Thayer David and David Selby shine in this storyline. A complete 180 of the roles they had been playing. Angelique had escaped from Aristede after being stripped of her powers by Quentofi, and Barnabas had just showed up again at the end of disc 1, a great cliffhanger to end the night with. I can’t wait to pop in disc 2! After watching 1897 for so many months it’s going to be quite the shock to suddenly find myself with the “present day” characters in 1969.

It's about shoulder length, layered, and I have bangs again. It looks and feels 100% better.

I was attempting to grow out my bangs to see how it looked, got them long enough to sweep and pin to the side, and realized I hated it. It just took my 40 years to make an appointment at the salon and get there.

And today is Yule! So Merry Yule to all my wiccan friends out there! If I have time after cleaning the house today, and finishing the next two pages of 3lj, I plan on doing a Yule themed picture of Kui & Greene. I also created a new character that will most likely show up in chapter 2 and kick some ass in chapter 3 when the Hand make their appearance. It'll be hard to draw as I'm not adept at drawing fight scenes, but I'll give it my best shot.

Now on to the cleaning! I'll post a picture of my new haircut later. As for now I have things to do.
